Education, did not refer to the race of students from the Eclipse
and Crittenden neighborhoods when he addressed the Suffolk School
Board about problems at Nansemond River High, as reported in The Sun
last Thursday. Also, Forbes was not interviewed for the story; his
comments came from statements made at the meeting.

illustrating the cover story about the Pughsville Community Project
in Thursday's Sun. Gaines was pictured on page 15 in two photographs
- one with Melvin Copeland, the other with Wayne White - working on
the project to rebuild a house for a neighbor.
