Florine P. Burgess of the 900 block of Lake Village Drive, died Nov. 16, 1994, in her home.
Mrs. Burgess was born in Halifax County, N.C., and was the widow of Timothy Burgess Sr. She was a member of Bible World Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include three daughters, Jessie Russell and Dorothy Johnson, both of Portsmouth, and Barbara Burgess of Chesapeake; seven sons, Raymond Burgess, David Burgess and Walter Burgess, all of Portsmouth, Michael Burgess, Stevie Burgess and Donald Burgess, all of Chesapeake, and Leon Burgess of High Point, N.C.; four sisters; three brothers; 19 grandchildren; 10 grandchildren; two sons-in-law; two daughters-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Timothy Burgess Jr.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m Saturday in Bible World Church, 600 Happy Acres Road, Chesapeake, by Pastor Robert E. Hall. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing will begin at noon today in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
