With Hurricane Gordon threatening to make land along North Carolina's Outer Banks Friday, the Eastern Region postponed its four semifinal football playoff games, moving all four games to tonight at 7:30.
In Division 6, top-seed Kempsville (9-1) meets No. 4 Tallwood (7-3) at Kellam High while No. 2 Green Run (9-1) battles No. 3 Indian River (7-3) at Princess Anne.
In Division 5, top-seed Deep Creek (10-0) plays No. 4 Phoebus (9-1) at Western Branch while No. 2 Hampton (10-0) takes on No. 3 Booker T. Washington (6-4) at Darling Stadium.
The Division 4 playoffs were also postponed. Nansemond River (9-1) will host Greensville (4-6) at 1:30 p.m. Lakeland (5-5) will travel to Bailey Field to take on York (7-3) at 2 p.m.
