I was upset to read in ``Trash workers find the body of Beach woman'' (Local News, Nov. 10) that the victim ``has been known to go through Dumpsters for salvageable items.''
I knew Roza Parker well. I know that she did not rummage through trash cans.
Roza Parker was a good, kind Christian woman. She was at the church that night to help the reverend by putting some branches into the Dumpster.
Think of the family and friends of that dear, sweet woman. You should be ashamed for putting such a tasteless and untrue quote into the newspaper.
