Herbert Linwood Bryant, 87, of the 2000 block of Darden Terrace, a retired warehouse manager, died Nov. 19, 1994, in his residence.
He was a native of Capron, Va. He retired from Imperial Tobacco Co., was a Baptist and a member of the Police Association of Virginia.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle M. Bryant; three daughters, Carolyn Dale Fisher, Betty B. Dabney and Peggy Lynn White, all of Chesapeake; a son, Richard Barrett Bryant of Portsmouth; a stepson, his wife and their daughter, William, Robin and Ashley Young of Chesapeake; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Tom Potter. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
