Lessie M. Williams of the 600 block of Greentree Road, died Nov. 21, 1994, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mrs. Williams was born in Spring Hope, N.C. She was a member of New St. Mark Apostolic Church of God, Inc., Berkley, Norfolk. She was a former Sunday School teacher, Senior Usher Board member, former financial treasurer of The Sisters Union, and was Church Mother.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Allen Williams Sr.; four daughters, Ruth Sivills, Iola Williams, Edith Worsley and Mary Boone of Chesapeake; four sons, Lee A. Williams Jr., Tony Williams, Garry Williams and Reginald Williams of Chesapeake; her stepmother, Mary Gay of Portsmouth; two sisters, Emma Jordan of Chesapeake and Elaine Hyman of Norfolk; a brother, James Gay of Chesapeake; 19 grandchildren; a beloved sister-in-law, Rebecca Williams of Chesapeake; a beloved brother-in-law, Fred Williams of Chesapeake; three daughters-in-law; and three sons-in-law.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in New St. Mark Apostolic Church of God, Inc., Berkley, Norfolk, by Elder Angelo Davis. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
