Estelle E. Edwards, of the 900 block of Fern Mill Court died Nov. 24, 1994, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.
She was retired from New York University and was a native of Charleston, S.C. She was the widow of Edward Edwards, and was a member of Rock Church.
She is survived by one adopted daughter, Bernice James of New York; one adopted son, Calvin James of New York; one sister, Jewell Cosby of Virginia Beach; and one brother, Johnnie Homles of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Rock Church by the Rev. Betty Forbes. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling the arrangements. The remains will be ready for viewing today at 3 p.m., and will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Monday. The family will assemble at the residence at noon for the processional.
