Peter M. Barrington died Nov. 24, 1994, at a local nursing home.
Mr. Barrington was a native of Princess Anne County and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his son, James E. Barrington Sr. of Hampton, Va.; two sisters, Rebecca R. Lewis of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Julia Bray of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will assemble at the home of Mrs. Julia Bray, 2717 Broad St., Chesapeake. The graveside service will be held in Hampton National Cemetery on Friday at 2 p.m. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home, 7603 Merritt St., Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
