Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield is extending for another month the deadline for policyholders to apply for co-payment refunds, the company announced Monday. Trigon is providing refunds following an investigation by the State Corporation Commission that found Trigon had misled its policyholders for 10 years through its billing practices. Trigon will run ads in newspapers statewide Wednesday, to announce that the deadline has been extended until Jan. 7. The ads also will display a refund form and tell policyholders they need only fill out their name, address, identification number and signature to qualify for a refund. by CNB
