Henry Malcolm Small, 68, of the 2700 block of Desert Road, died Nov. 30, 1994, in Louise Obici Hospital.
Mr. Small was born in Corapeake, N.C., and was retired from Barr Brothers Jewelry Store after 43 years. He was a member of Eureka Baptist Church, Corapeake, the Elks Lodge, Suffolk Sports Club, American Legion, TPA and was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred H. Small; three daughters, Lynne S. Gardner of Memphis, Tenn., Gail S. Barnes and Kaye S. Lewis, both of Suffolk; his mother, Rachel R. Rountree of Suffolk; a brother, L.J. Small Jr. of Greensboro, N.C.; and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Lycurcas Jerome Small.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Barrett Long. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23439.
