Laura B. Lee, 63, of the 2700 block of Westminster Ave., a retired seamstress, died Nov. 28, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Lee was born in King and Queen County, Va., daughter of the late Hausey Lewis Hampton and Tazwell Lee Hampton. She retired in August 1994 from the Portsmouth Naval Hospital after 23 years. She was a member of the Deaf Missionary Church of Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Donald E. Lee Sr.; a daughter, Veronica M. Dowell of San Diego, Calif.; two sons, Jerome Lee of Virginia Beach and Donald Lee Jr. of Norfolk; a brother, Tazwell Hampton Sr. of Bridgeport, Conn.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Daniel Dowdy. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
