PUBLIC HEARINGS
On the application of Norfolk Collegiate School, by Howard E. Gordon, attorney, to amend the General Plan of Norfolk, 1992, from (HR) high density to (E) education to change the land-use designation on property fronting about 510 feet along the southern line of Suburban Parkway beginning about 433 feet east of Granby Street and running eastward; premises now or formerly numbered 107-210 Suburban Parkway.
On the application of Norfolk Collegiate School, by Howard E. Gordon, attorney, for a change of zoning from PDR-6 (Planned Development) to conditional IN-I (Institutional District) on property fronting 510 feet along the southern line of Suburban Parkway beginning 433 feet east of Granby Street and running eastward; premises now or formerly numbered 107-201 Suburban Parkway.
On the application of Gary Rosso, for a change of zoning from R-8 (One Family) district to PDR (Planned Development) district on property located at the western terminus of Rosso Court, beginning about 85 feet west of North Veaux Loop and South Veaux Loop and extending westwardly about 370 feet at 1300 Rosso Court.
On the application of Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, by Donald C. Schultz, attorney, for the closing, vacating and discontinuing the following portions of streets: Market Street, from the eastern line of Monticello Avenue to the western line of Cumberland Street; Bank Street, from the northern line of City Hall Avenue to the southern line of Freemason Street; and Court Street, from the northern line of City Hall Avenue to the southern line of Market Street. A resolution approving the issuance of revenue bonds by the Norfolk Airport Authority by use of powers conferred by Chapter 34, Acts of Assembly of 1918, Chapter 463, Acts of Assembly of 1948, and Section 144 of the Norfolk Charter, in conjunction with the financing and refinancing of the acquisition, construction and installation of educational facilities for the Norfolk Academy Campus located at 1585 Wesleyan Drive.
