Forty soldiers from the 7th Transportation Group at Fort Eustis have returned home from Haiti aboard two landing craft - the LCU Hopkirk and LCU Port Nelson - after spending the past two months supporting port operations in Port-au-Prince.
About 350 soldiers from the 7th Group remain in Haiti.
In addition, 18 soldiers from the group's 11th Transportation Battalion, based at Fort Story in Virginia Beach, are scheduled to arrive home this week from Southwest Asia. They have been in the Persian Gulf region since mid-October.
