Jonas Adolph Cosner Sr., 99, of Spotsylvania County, died Nov. 30, 1994.
He formerly resided in South Norfolk. Mr. Cosner was a World War I veteran. He retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
Survivors included his wife of 71 years, Mary F. Cosner; three sons, Hugh C. Cosner of Spotsylvania County, Jonas A. Cosner Jr. and Rodney K. Cosner, both of Chesapeake; daughter, Mary K. Spady of Virginia Beach; as well as nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was buried at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery in Louisa County on Dec. 3, 1994.
