Doris Elizabeth Perry Taylor, 64, of the 900 block of Perrytown Road, a retired clerk, died Dec. 8, 1994, in Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Bertie County, N.C., and was a member of Perrytown Assembly of God, Colerain. She was retired from the Agriculture Stabilization Conservation Service.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace B. Taylor; a daughter, Joanna Taylor Sary and son-in-law, Gregory M. Sary of Windsor; four sisters, Margie Basnight and Mary Brown, both of Colerain, Thelma Langston of Norfolk and Peggy Rose of Windsor; a brother, Cola Perry of Harrellsville, N.C.; and a grandchild, Jodey Bruce Sary of Windsor.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Perrytown Assembly of God, Colerain, by the Rev. Eldred Jenkins and the Rev. Reginald Stone. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie. The family will receive friends at the home, 950 Perrytown Road. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Roanoke Chowan Hospice, P.O.
