MAJOR L. BLOUNT

Major Lee Blount of the 4000 block of W. Colonial Parkway, died Dec. 7, 1994.

Mr. Blount was born in Virginia Beach and was employed with the Virginia Beach Schools and Southland Corp. for 20 years. He was a member of Union Baptist Church Kempsville.

Survivors include two daughters, Chamekay Cooper and Monique Cooper, both of Chesapeake; his mother, Gladys Z. Blount of Virginia Beach; five sisters, Helen Blount, Gladys I. Blount, Clara Vaughan and Estelle McClenney, all of Virginia Beach, and Bessie Coston of Chesapeake; six brothers, Bennie Blount, Clifton Blount, James Blount, all of Virginia Beach, Joshua Blount of Norfolk, Nehemiah Blount Jr. of Chesapeake and Raymond Blount of Allentown, Pa.; 11 nieces; 14 nephews; a brother-in-law; five sisters-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Union Baptist church Kempsville, 46-8 South Blvd., Virginia Beach, by the Rev Charles Vinson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral home, Virginia Each Chapel, is handling arrangements.
