PAUL J. HESKETH SR.

Paul James Hesketh, Sr, 92, of the 5000 block of Bay Circle died Dec. 10, 1994 in a Portsmouth hospital.

He was a native of Wilmington, Del. He was a retired leading man machinist for Norfolk Naval Shipyard for over 30 years and also retired from the city of Portsmouth as the assistant pro at City Park Golf Course. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Seaboard Masonic Lodge (NU)56 and the National Guard and was the widow of Alma Hesketh.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley H. Freedman of Chesapeake and Regina H. Powers of Suffolk; a son, Col. Paul J. Hesketh, Jr. of Menlo Park, Calif.; two sisters, Anna H. Davis of Norfolk and Mary H. Bullman of Portsmouth; a brother, Joseph B. Hesketh of Norfolk; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Robert New. The family will be at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Eastern Star Home of VA., 3000 Chamberlain Ave., Richmond, Va. 23227.
