On Friday, Norfolk Circuit Court jurors acquitted Curtis L. Jones
of capital murder, attempted robbery and two counts of using a
firearm in the death of Lindenwood drug dealer Jeffrey Flowers.
Technological problems deleted the charges from Saturday's
Virginian-Pilot and Ledger-Star.
Also deleted was a juror's statement that the verdict was
unanimous, and the jury believed the police investigation was sloppy
and that evidence was lacking.
