Stewart Franklin ``Frank'' Roney, 62, of the 3000 block of Manning Road, the director of engineering of The Waterside in Norfolk, died Dec. 10, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Roney was born in Laurel, Miss. He was a retired chief gunners mate and had retired from the U.S. Navy in 1973 after 20 years service and was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Walters Roney; a daughter, Vicki L. Harrison of Chesapeake; two sons, Gary L. Hollowell of Virginia Beach and Darren Roney of Danville; a sister, Syble R. Spencer of Laurel, Miss.; a brother, Ernie Roney of Laurel, Miss.; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Mitchell L. Harrison. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
