LOUISE RAPOPORT FENSTER

Louise Rapoport Fenster died Dec. 13, 1994, in New York City.

Louise was the beloved wife of Marvin, and the adored mother of Julie and Mark. She was the daughter of the late Julia and Morris H. Rapoport, the founder of the The Quality Shop menswear store in Portsmouth, sister of the late Herman L. Rapoport, sister-in-law of Phyllis Rapoport Halpern, and aunt of Reid and Steven Rapoport and Martha R. McClelland.

Louise was born and raised in Portsmouth. After being educated at Wilson High School, Skidmore College and Northwestern University, she spent her married years in New York City.

Louise brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held in New York City on Dec. 15 at 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate having donations made in Louise's memory to the Rapoport Room Fund of the Children's Library at the Portsmouth Public Library, 801 Court St., Portsmouth, Va. 23704-3807 or to the charity of your choice.
