Mark Edward Thompson, 69, of the 4200 block of Summerset Drive, owner and president of Cris Insurance Agency and Replace-a-Car Association, died Dec. 12, 1994.
Mr. Thompson was a native of Nevada, Iowa. He was a member of Western Branch Baptist Church and the Portsmouth Chapter of Gideons.
Survivors include his wife, Mae Rogerson Thompson; three daughters, Janet Brown of Suffolk, Deborah Wroten of Lakeland, Fla. and Mary Repine of Norcross, Ga.; a son, Mark Brickhouse of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Loving Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. George F. Mullinax. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m.
