Louis L. ``Les'' Horwitz, 76, of Dickson Drive, died Dec. 13, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Horwitz was born in St. Louis, Mo. He was retired from civil service and was a real estate agent. He was a member of Ohef Sholom Temple, Norfolk and Brith Shalom lodge.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth ``Betty'' Brown Horwitz; a daughter, Susan Stein and her husband, Alan J. of Virginia Beach; a son, Arthur H. Horwitz and his wife, Sondra of Richmond; two brothers, Nathen Horwitz of New York and Manuel Horwitz of Maryland; his mother-in-law, Celia Brown; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in the King David section of Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Horwitz following graveside services. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, Chapel, is handling arrangements.
