Martha Lydia Cummings, 77, died Dec. 13, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Cummings was born in Revere, Mass., and was the daughter of the late James T. and Nellie Cook. She attended Baylake United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Francis Cummings; a son, Edwin ``Ned'' Cummings Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Frances Stinchfield of Carver, Mass., and Hazel Carey of Milton, Del.; two brothers, Robert Cook of Boston and J. William Cook of Malden, Mass.; two grandchildren, Rebecca Cummings and Frederick Cummings, both of Virginia Beach; and a daughter-in-law, Ellen Wicker Cummings of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Dr. R. Fenton Wicker. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
