Rose Marie Hartford, 72, of the 8100 block of Shore Drive, a homemaker, died Dec. 12, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Hartford was born in Phoenixville, Pa., and was Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Harvey Hartford; seven daughters, Josie Viles and Kathy Arthur, both of Norfolk, Trish Madden of Virginia Beach, Lorraine Hartford of Grundy, Va., Wanda Dingus of Dinwiddie, Va., Judy Richardson of Vansant, Va., and Sara Ellen Hartford of New Tazewell, Tenn.; five sons, James Herman Grevey of Sparta, Tenn., Donald Michael Grevey of Virginia Beach, John Grevey and Harold Hartford Jr., both of Norfolk, and Harold Hartford II of Grundy, Va.; three sisters, Josie Fabian of Phoenixville, Pa., Deloris Dominico of Spring City, Pa., and Annie Doto of Jehovah Beach, Del.; a brother, Frankie Costello of Phoenixville, Pa.; and 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Monday, Dec. 19, in St. Pius X Catholic Church by Father Joe Metzger. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon at the church prior to the service at noon. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
