Claude A. Stinson, 64, of the 1100 block of Leland Circle died Dec. 15, 1994 in Norfolk.
Mr. Stinson was born in Jewell Ridge, Va. He was employed with Sicash Builders Inc. for 35 years, was a member and active deacon of Elizabeth River Baptist Church and an Army veteran of Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Irene H. Stinson; two daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Bobby Lester and Sandra Overcash, all of Virginia Beach; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry Claude and Gina Stinson of Chesapeake; and four grandchildren, Amanda E. Stinson of Chesapeake and Bradley J. Lester, David J. Lester and Jacob A. Overcash, all of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Meredith G. Garrett. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 8 to 9 p.m. today.
