Curtis Lee Rogers, 75, a retired shipping and receiving clerk, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994 in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
He was a native of Montclair, N.J., had retired from International Business Machines (IBM) in New York after 30 years and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was predeceased by his longtime friend and companion Beaulah Rice-Sutton. This friendship extended and created a very close relationship between Mr. Rogers and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce and Jocelyn Rice of Norfolk, brother and sister-in-law of the late Mrs. Rice-Sutton.
Survivors include a very special and devoted niece, Jocelyn O. Rice-Saddler of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be held at noon Tuesday at Riddick Funeral Service, 1225 Norview Ave. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family will be at 5312 Gale Drive, Virginia Beach, the home of Jocelyn O. Rice-Saddler.
