During the Christmas season, we celebrate the miracle of the birth of Jesus.
This year, another miracle was revealed to us: A South Korean POW escaped from enemy hands after being held in captivity for 43 years in North Korea. At 5:50 p.m. Christmas Eve, we will gather at the Virginia State Vietnam War Monument, at Huntington Park, to remember and pray for the safe release of American prisoners of war, and their families that wait.
God bless all who have continued to keep a vigil for our abandoned Americans. If you cannot join us on Christmas Eve, please remember them in your prayers. Miracles do happen.
