LILIAN PALMER

Lilian ``Betty Boo'' Palmer, of the 300 block of 32nd St., a self-employed caretaker, died Dec. 15, 1994, in Philadelphia, Pa.

Mrs. Palmer was born in Norfolk. She was a member of Oakwood Chapel Church of Christ Disciples, Norfolk, Missionary Circle and the Nurse Aide Unit. She was also a member of the Park Place Helping Hand Club. She is preceded in death by her father, James N. Artis.

Survivors include her husband, Benjamin Palmer of Philadelphia, Pa.; a daughter, Kim Re nee Palmer of Norfolk; a son, Benjamin James Palmer of Philadelphia; her mother, Bessie Brown; her stepfather, Freddie Brown; a brother, the Rev. Lorenzo Jones of Delaware; aunts, Lillian Jones, Sis Johnson of Philadelphia, Louise Edwards, Carrie Smith, Lottie Knight, Verlene Kelley and Queen Sibley, all of Norfolk; and friends, Laval Fuller of Norfolk and Christine Williams of Philadelphia.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Oakwood Chapel Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. C.N. White. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will meet at 6625 Jefferson Court, Norfolk, on Thursday evening. Memorial donations may be sent to Oakwood Chapel Church Building Fund.
