Robert Lemuel Daniel, 86, of the 400 block of Corapeake Drive, died Dec. 20, 1994, in Amherst, Va.
Mr. Daniel was born in Buena Vista, Va., and was retired from the Water Department, City of Norfolk. He was the widower of Dorcas Curling Daniel and a member of Avalon Church of Christ, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include a daughter, Norma Lee Richards of Amherst, Va.; a son, Charles Edward Daniel of Chesapeake; two sisters, Hilda Morter of Boones Mill, Va. and Bernice Page of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. James Bennett. The family will be at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at 444 Corapeake Drive, Chesapeake.
