A headline on last Sunday's Close-Up profile of the Rev. Alan Felumlee incorrectly said he is pastor of a Baptist church, although the text correctly identified it as Main Street United Methodist Church. The Sun regrets the error.
Also last Sunday, a story about Dr. Wyatt M. Ruffin Jr., who has opened Nansemond Suffolk Oral Care in Suffolk, contained two errors: Ruffin said he previously worked as a contract dentist for a Newport News shipyard, but not Newport News Shipbuilding, which could have been inferred from the article; and although he was born in Franklin, he grew up in Courtland in Southampton County.
