Inell T. Willis, 80, of the 2500 block of Staunton Ave., died Dec. 20, 1994, in Maryview Hospital.
Mrs. Willis was born in Nansemond County, Va. She had retired from Manor High School as a custodian after several years. She was the widow of Clarence Willis and was a member of Union Baptist Church, Shoulders Hill, Suffolk. She was a former member of the church's Usher Board, Gospel Choir and the Missionary Circle. She was a charter member of the Royal Star Chapter 200, Order of Eastern Star, PHA of Virginia.
Survivors include five daughters, Lillie Mae Davis, Estella Majette and Shirley Carter, all of Portsmouth and Willie Esther Davis and Mamie Ward, both of New York City; three sons, Melvin Daniels of Connecticut, John Daniels of New York and James Daniels of New Jersey; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; a devoted grandson, Harvey Townes and a devoted granddaughter-in-law, Angelina P. Townes and a special great-granddaughter, Linsay Townes; a special brother-in-law, Graves Vann and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Union Baptist Church Shoulders Hill, Suffolk, by the Rev. C.V. Russell. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will begin in Corprew Funeral Home at 6 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Monday.
