VERONICA C. CONAWAY

Veronica Clines ``Ronnie'' Conaway, of the 4900 block of Rosecroft St., an office manager, died Dec. 23, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Conaway was born in Hoboken, N.J. She was employed with Advanced Technology Institute of Virginia Beach. She was a member of the Ascension Catholic Church and was a United States Navy veteran. She was a member of the Fleet Reserve Auxiliary Unit 99. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Tomberlin.

Survivors include her husband, Aubrey S. ``Doc'' Conaway of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Sharon C. Savage and Wendy C. Small, both of Virginia Beach; a son, Thomas S. Conaway of Chesapeake; three brothers, Joseph Clines of Maywood, N.J., John Clines of Kenville, N.J. and Frank Clines of Colgate, Wis.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother-in-law, Pat Tomberlin of Yountville, Calif.

A Christian Funeral Liturgy will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Ascension Catholic Church by Fr. James Parke. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements. Friends may join the family at the church one hour prior to service for visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
