Arlethia Rumble, 69, of the 1000 block of Mariner St., a retired homemaker, died Dec. 24, 1994, in Sentara Nursing Center.
Mrs. Rumble was born in Norfolk, daughter of the late Carrie and James Wiggins, and was wife of the late Thomas Lee Rumble. She was a member of St. Matthew's Church of Christ Disciples the Choir, (NU)1 Usher Board and secretary of the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Thomasine E.R. Cason of Philadelphia; a special nephew, James Wiggins of Philadelphia; a great-nephew, Louis Robinson of Georgia; and son-in-law, Larry Cason of Philadelphia.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Home by Bishop Edward Wilder. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will assemble at 1040 Kennedy St., the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Spratley.
