Mary M. Lee, 84, of the 500 block of Beauregard Drive, died Dec. 26, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Lee was the widow of Edmond F. Lee and was born in Johnson City, Tenn. She was a retired Virginia state employee.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol L. Violet of Chesapeake; five sisters, Martha Barnard and Ruth Eddins, both of Chesterfield, S.C., Lilian Hoffmann of Bella Vista, Ark., Patricia Dees of Rockingham, N.C., and Iris Neal of Georgetown, S.C.; a brother, Alan McLain of Bennettsville, S.C.; three grandchildren, Cynthia L. Bell, Thomas E. Violet Jr. and Mary P. Violet, all of Chesapeake; and a great-grandson, Evan T. Nash of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be held Dec. 29 in McCall Cemetery, Bennettsville, S.C. Twiford Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is handling local arrangements.
