Detroit Hucks, 74, of the 2300 block of Peach St., died Dec. 24, 1994.
Mr. Hucks was retired from Seaboard Railroad. He was a member of Lebanon Lodge (NU)34 of Masons, Antioch (NU)7 Knights of Templar and Arabia Temple (NU)12 Shriners.
Survivors include his wife, Alice V. Hucks; a foster daughter, Karen Duncan; two sons, Milton Hucks and Robert Hucks; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Swilley; and a brother-in-law, Cornelius Elliott.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Fisher Funeral Home by the Rev. J.M. Mason. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will assemble at 412 Roosevelt Blvd. for the processional.
