Eulalia Kellam Mears, 85, a retired secretary, died Dec. 24, 1994, in Newport News.
Mrs. Mears was born in Painter, Va., daughter of Elizabeth Wise and Edward Garrison Kellam, and was a graduate of Blacksburg College. She was the widow of William Fisher Mears and was retired from Hall-Richardson Insurance. She was a member of Ocean View United Methodist Church, Wachapreague, Order of Eastern Star, Mildred Stephenson Chapter (NU)117 in Wachapreague and charter member of the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include nieces, Carolyn Lee Stephenson of Newport News and Ann Wise Bell of Oyster; and nephew, Russell G. Stephenson of Ellicott City, Md.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Belle Haven Cemetery, Belle Haven, Va., by the Rev. Wilfred M. Mayton. B.D. Holland Funeral Home, Nassawadox, is handling arrangements. The family will be at the funeral home from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday.
