Jackie Lyle Campbell, 67, of the 200 block of Upperville Road, a retired civil service employee, died Dec. 29, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Campbell was born in Matoaka, W.Va., and was retired as an electronics technician GS-12 after 15 years. He was an avid bowler and was associated with leagues at Little Creek and Oceana. He was a member of the Swindler Golf Club at Oceana and also enjoyed hunting. He served in the Korean War with the U.S. Navy and was a member of Fleet Reserve. He was a good husband and father.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestine M. Campbell; a daughter, Tracy M. Fay of Virginia Beach; two sons, David B. Campbell of Langhorne, Pa., and Daniel B. Campbell of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Marion Gordon of Vinton, Va., and Jewell Pannell of Salem, Va.; and six grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kemspville Chapel, by the Rev. David W. Roth. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today for visitation.
