ALEXANDER J. ONDRAK

Alexander J. Ondrak, 59, of the 3200 block of Flanders Ave., died Dec. 29, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Ondrak was born in New York City and was a retired MM1 from the U.S. Navy after 21 years. He was a member and deacon of Central Baptist Church; past post commander of American Legion Post (NU)35; Fleet Reserve Association Post (NU)60; master sergeant in the Virginia State Guard and Knights of the Pythians. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Ondrak; two brothers, Willie F. Ondrak and Eddie Ondrak, both of New York.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Melvin J. Hughes. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Soup Kitchen for the Homeless, Central Baptist Church.
