Pearl Louise Herron, 71, of the 5000 block of Hillswick Drive, died Dec. 28, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
She was born in Tarpon Springs, Fla., and retired as a food service worker from Norfolk Public Schools after 23 years. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Norfolk and was the past financial secretary of the Pastor's Aide Club and was a trained beautician.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. James Herron Sr., one daughter, Brenda Herron of Virginia Beach; three sons, James Herron Jr. and Kenneth Herron, both of Chesapeake, and Michael Herron of Wilmington, Del.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Penelope R. Herron of Chesapeake and Rosa L. Herron of Norfolk, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. by Dr. I. Joseph Williams at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Norfolk. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk. The body will be placed in the church on Tuesday morning at 11:30 a.m. Family and friends will assemble at 640 Creekwood Drive in Chesapeake on Tuesday at noon for the funeral processional to the church.
