Olivia Wilson Holt, 76, of the 6600 block of Holland Road, died Jan. 5, 1995, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.
A native of St. Stephens, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Madison and Helen Dent Wilson and the widow of Glenn M. Holt. She was retired from the trust department of First National Bank in Montgomery, Ala. Mrs. Holt was a charter member and past president of the Holland Ladies Ruritan Club and was selected as their Ruritan of the Year in 1994. She was a past president of the Holland Senior Citizens Group.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathy H. Quate of Suffolk and Glenda H. Walker of Marianna, Fla.; one brother, Leroy M. Wilson of St. Stephens, Ala.; four grandchildren, Becky Cassman Bryce, Lou Cassman Ventura, Debbie Cassman Forbes and Robert Quate.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in R.W. Baker & Company Funeral Home by the Rev. Ed Sunday-Winters and the Rev. David Seymour. Burial will be in the Wilson Family Cemetery in St. Stephens at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson, Ala., in charge. The family will receive friends at the home of Cathy Quate, 6512 Holland Road, Suffolk, Va. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23439, or to the Holland Volunteer Fire Department, 6666 O'Kelly Drive, Suffolk, Va. 23437.
