``Clarification, please'' (editorial, Dec. 30) says, among other things, that Governor Allen must better convey his budget's philosophy.
The governor's philosophy is so clear and simple that his detractors seem to not believe it. It's the one he was elected on: Less government is better and get tough on crime.
