George A. Salas, 84, of the first block of Gee St., owner and operator of Salas Auto Service, died Jan. 6, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Salas, a native of Pensacola, Fla., was the widower of Joyce Irene Salas. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Henkle; three sons, Robert Salas, Tommy Salas and Jimmy Salas; and a sister, Nellie Francisco, all of Portsmouth; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter and the Rev. Nelson Fields. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
