NORMAN H. RUSSELL

Norman Hudson Russell, 99, of the 400 block of Broad St., died Jan. 6, 1995.

Mr. Russell was born in Carterville, Ill., and was the widower of Lois Rhodes Russell. He was a retired bookkeeper for Crucible Steel Company of America, Midland, Pa. He was a member of Port Norfolk Baptist Church and was a Navy veteran of World War I.

Survivors include sons, Norman H. Russell Jr. of Edmond, Okla., Walter C. Russell of Burlington, N.C., and Richard R. Russell of Wheatland, Wyo.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted on Monday at 2 p.m. by Dr. Ector L. Hamrick in Evergreen Memorial Park. Family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m.
