stated incorrectly which tax increases are subject to a three-fifths
``super majority'' vote under rules changes adopted by the new
Congress. The requirement applies only to personal and corporate
income tax rates.
Marine Corps helicopter pilots train with Navy helicopter pilots
at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla.
A story Friday on helicopter operations contained misinformation
about where the Marine pilots train.
King College in Bristol, Tenn., has an enrollment of 562
students. The name of the college and the number of students were
incorrectly reported Friday in a Daily Break story about evangelical
schools.
Darrell H. Norton, a former Smithfield High School valedictorian
sentenced in July to two years in jail for burglary and grand
larceny, has not been released from Western Tidewater Regional Jail
in Suffolk.
A MetroNews story Thursday about Michael T. Barfield, a
co-defendant in two burglary cases, incorrectly reported that
Norton, who was incarcerated July 15, had been released.
The Movie Timeclock in Friday's Preview section contained an
error. ``The Swan Princess,'' ``Miracle on 34th Street,'' ``The
Professional'' and ``Trapped in Paradise'' are not playing at the
AMC Circle 6 at Military Circle.
