George Washington Peck Jr., 70, of Virginia Beach, died Jan. 10, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Peck was born in Benton, Ala. He was a retired Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Annabelle Lee Peck; three daughters, Laurie Carpenito of Bristol, R.I., Stephanie Peck Davies of Williamsburg, Va., and Martha Susan Pemberton of San Diego, Calif.; a son, William E. Peck of Arlington, Va.; a brother, Richard S. Peck of Benton, Ala.; and seven grandchildren.
A chapel service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Clark Mandigo. Burial will be in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery in Virginia Beach with full military honors. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
