GEOGRAPHY BEE CHAMPION

ILLUSTRATION: Ava Stone, 9, daughter of Sari and Stan Stone, won Landstown

Elementary's fourth-grade National Geographic Geography Bee. The

winner of the school-level competition advances to the next level,

which is a written competition. At the school-level, students

answered oral questions on geography. All school winners are

eligible to win the national championship and its $25,000 college

scholarship. National competition is May 30-31 in Washington.
