Dr. Abram H. Buck Jr., 65, of the 4000 block of Kings Lane, died of a heart attack Dec. 5, 1994, in Nashville, Tenn.
Dr. Buck was born in Norfolk, Va., and was a retired physician after 26 years of service. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church, Nashville. He was a graduate of West Virginia State College and Meharry Medical College. He was predeceased by his mother, Margaret L. Buck, and father, Dr. Abram H. Buck Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Adrienne D. Buck; four daughters, Adrienne B. Brasher of Maylene, Ala., Alexis B. Sweatt of Nashville, Aurora B. Malone of Memphis, Tenn., Autumn B. Tiebout of Chicago; two sons, Abram H. Buck III and Ahmed G. Buck, both of Nashville; two sisters, Loretta B. DuVerney and Dr. Margaret S. Saunders, both of Chesapeake; five grandchildren, Aliana and Terry Sweatt, Alecia, Abram IV and Aron Buck, all of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was conducted Thursday, Dec. 8, 1994, at 1 p.m. by Father Arthur Anderson in St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church, Nashville. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashville. Lewis and Wright Funeral Home was in charge.
