Julia Martha McDonnell, 83, of the 200 block of Gallenway Terrace, a retired registered nurse, died Jan. 17, 1995, in a nursing home.
Mrs. McDonnell was born in Roeselare, Belgium. She was the widow of Ranald McDonnell and was a member of the Michigan Nursing Association.
Survivors include one son and his wife, H.J. and Judy McDonnell of Chesapeake; and three grandchildren, Wayne Westmoreland of Portsmouth and Cristin McDonnell and Mickey McDonnell of Chesapeake.
Service will be private at a later date. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Lee's Friends or the American Cancer Society.
