VIRGINIA W. CROWDER

Virginia Woodson Crowder, 68, beloved mother of 5 children and the widow of John E. Crowder Jr. of Norfolk went to be with our Lord on Jan. 21, 1995. Virginia was a constant source of strength and encouragement to family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved her. Ms. Crowder was born in Savannah, Ga., and was a resident of Norfolk. She was a member and President of Lake Taylor Civic League, an Accountant and tax preparer for Richard A. Kenny & Assoc. (1972-1983). She was the owner of Virginia W. Crowder & Assoc. (1983-1991) an accounting firm in Va. Beach. She was an enrolled agent before the IRS, member of the Ladies Auxillary VFW 4809, National Association of Public Accountants and the Greenbriar Christian Fellowship. She is survived by 4 children, Donald C. Crowder of Bellefonte, Pa., Margaret C. Schlegel of Va. Beach, J. Catherine Sykes of Atlanta, Ga., and John E. Crowder III of Chesapeake. She was pre-deceased in death by a daughter Linda C. Crowder of Norfolk. Other survivors include her 2 brothers, William Woodson of Florida and Albert T. Woodson of Monterey, Va.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 24, 1995 at 2 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Indian River Chapel by Pastor Rev. Bobby Hill with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
