Irene E. Ortt, 91, of the 5300 block of Marian Lane, died Jan. 20, 1995, in her home.
She was a native of Memphis, Tenn., and was the widow of Herbert F. Ortt. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was predeceased by her son, Herbert R. Ortt.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruth C. Cutchins and Margaret M. Curtin, both of Norfolk; one sister, Ethel Brown or Lorton, Va.; fourgrandchildren, Mary V. Markland, James E. Curtin, Richard E. Cutchins, and John R. Ortt; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral Mass will be conducted at 7 p.m. today at Holy Trinity Catholic Church by Father Lou Ruoff. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling the arrangements. A prayer service will be held at the church Monday at 10 a.m. with graveside services to follow. The family will be at 9601 Sherwood Place, Norfolk, after the funeral Mass tonight.
